I have a small mole that sticks out on my chin and would like to get it removed with MINIMAL scarring. I am planning on going to see a plastic surgeon for a consultation for this, and am wondering if anyone has experience with this. What was the procedure like, did it require local or general anesthesia, what was the cost, how long did it take to heal, etc…

I am 16, I have a slightly raised mole on the side of my cheek that grows hair. Is their anyway I can remove this mole before school starts again, In a little less then a month? I have already tried contacting a plastic surgeon because my dermatologist doesn’t do surgeries like mole removals. The plastic surgeon is just way to much money. Its 5.00 dollars just for a visit where I would talk about with the surgeon what I want to do and he asses the mole. I can’t imagine how much money the actually surgery will be. I know my parents will never pay for it. My father’s response when I tried to talk to him about it was "Get over it, everyone has moles." Is there any way I can remove it on my own before school starts up again. I know its probably more of a deep rooted mole, because it grows hair, or at least thats what I have been told. I am trying to remove it using hydrogen peroxide 3% antiseptic because I read about a way to remove moles online using hydrogen peroxide. It doesn’t sting like its supposed to when I apply the peroxide, so I think It may not be strong enough of a solution. If any of you know a way to remove a mole quickly on your own please help me out. Thank you.

A couple of my facial moles are 2mm by 2mm also. They are darker than freckles. What can a dermetologist do to get rid of the moles? What do you mean by laser it off? They don’t stick out. I wouldn’t get anything done right away as I’m only in my mid teens. I am so annoyed than moles have appeared! What can a dermetologist or plastic surgeon do? I am needing to see a dermatologist about a couple of noticable (luckily they don’t stick out) facial scars I’ve had since I was little also soon. I live in Australia. I probably won’t be able to get anything done for a couple more years.

Should i see a plastic surgeon about this? or just a regular skin and laser center? i had some broken capillaries lasered at one and they do mole removal for about 500 (they have a dermatologist look at it first)
