It was a little too big for home removal ha ha.I got it out,but I have a huge raw meaty looking hole where it was. It’s a big hole about the size of a pencil eraser.
How should I treat this hole?Should I fill it with Neosporin? I also have hydrogen peroxide and alcohol I can use.
I have several moles across my body, mostly behind my shoulders and on my arms. Many of them are atypical, having unusual shape and pigmentation, but are benign. One mole on my neck is really misshapen and itches often. It’s not the diameter of a pencil eraser and the color is pretty uniform, but it’s slightly raised. I’ve been applying hydrogen peroxide 3% often as I’ve read it can be used as an alternative cure to melanoma and the mole (and only the mole) stings like crazy when I soak it in the HP. I’ve tried this on my other moles and they don’t sting. Is the stinging a sign that the mole is melanoma or is it just a reaction from prolonged exposure of the hydrogen peroxide?
i have this mole on my back that i think may be cancerous. the mole on my back is raised, two different colors, oddly shapped, and its not big, but i think its bigger then a pencil eraser if that helps. i’ve had a cancerous mole on my back before that was removed. should i go to the doctors? or not worry about it?
Spring break is coming up in like ten days, and I have a raised mole on my stomach about the size of a pencil eraser. I’m sick of trying to cover it up while I’m wearing a bathing suit, so I’m looking into getting it removed. My question is what is the process they will take in removing it, and how long will it take to be able to get it removed. Also, does it hurt??
Mature answers only please.
Thanks!(:
I’ve had a mole on my face for many many years now and I am wanting to get it removed. Ten years ago the dermatologist looked at it and was afraid to try and remove it cuz she wasn’t sure if it would come back or not. Since then I find myself scratching at it causing it to bleed and develop a scab (eventually it heals back). I would like to try and get it removed, thinking technology is much better this day and time. My dad had a similar mole on his face (i think i inherited it genetically) and he has had his removed because it was pre-cancerous. I know my insurance doesn’t cover if its just "cosmetic." I don’t know if telling my doctor about my dad would convince her to remove it or not. Whats the cost of mole removal (ballpark figure) if I have to pay out of pocket?
Btw the mole is the size of a small pencil eraser.
