Hi. I have chronic Lyme, and unfortunately am too electrosensitive & chemically sensitive to go anywhere, so I haven’t been to a doc in like 6 months. I’m 26 and last year, around this time, a spot on my shin got very itchy & a skin tag grew there, literally overnight. My dermatologist told me not to worry. But then, last week, a mole that has been on my arm for my entire life got itchy, turned black & came off when I scratched it. It’s not re-pigmenting. There’s a bump left there; a scar that’s bigger than the mole was. I scar very easily now. Even my bug bites turn into scars, even when I don’t scratch them. I’m hoping that that, as well as the loss & gain of moles/skin tags are related to the Lyme & not cancer-related. My dad says he develops new skin tags all the time, but he’s never had any moles just get inflamed & fall off. And yes, the one that came off is still itchy, but not painful.

It’s really disgusting. It looks like an oversized mole and it’s all over the body. My dad’s friend has them. I hear their called "body beads" but I want to know more about them and how they are formed. Does anyone know the scientific name for them?

Lately (the past 3-4 weeks) my left kidney has been aching, more of a sort of sharp stabbing pain when i move in certain positions. However the past week the pain moved to the front, almost where my left lung is. The next few days the pain travelled to the my left side, then to the back where my left kidney is again. People have suggested this is muscle problems, but im not sure. The pain the last few days has been getting less frequent and less painful. This is the embarassing part, ive had this small lump about the size of a pea on my butt for about 4-5 weeks, at first i thought it was just a spot/pimple but it hasnt gone away, also over the weeks it hardened to rock solid, and recently its darkened almost like a bruise however it seems to have gone down. It only hurts if i put pressure on it and it doesnt weep or ooze puss, any ideas? Another thing, the last week every time ive been in the shower ive noticed one of my moles bleeding. Its never done this before my whole life and i dont know whether ive scratched it somehow, but its strange how it has only just started bleeding. Ive also been feeling a little odd lately, nauseus, dizzy, fatigued, but i do mostly blame the heat. However after doing research and finding bleeding moles could be a sign of cancer, then looking at other symptoms, Ive actually been successful at freaking myself out. But i dont want to tell my mother because she knows i exaggerate and worry a lot, and i dont want to see a doctor unless im sure its something bad. My family does have a history of cancer, my dads dad and his 3 sisters died from cancer. Im pretty sure its not a cancerous lump i have as it seems to be going down, any ideas?

I’ve had a mole on my face for many many years now and I am wanting to get it removed. Ten years ago the dermatologist looked at it and was afraid to try and remove it cuz she wasn’t sure if it would come back or not. Since then I find myself scratching at it causing it to bleed and develop a scab (eventually it heals back). I would like to try and get it removed, thinking technology is much better this day and time. My dad had a similar mole on his face (i think i inherited it genetically) and he has had his removed because it was pre-cancerous. I know my insurance doesn’t cover if its just "cosmetic." I don’t know if telling my doctor about my dad would convince her to remove it or not. Whats the cost of mole removal (ballpark figure) if I have to pay out of pocket?

Btw the mole is the size of a small pencil eraser.

you know those black dots on a human skin? i have over 500, some big some small, it’s genetic actually, my mom mas a lot of small once and my dad sad the same as me, but how get rid of them because on my milky white skin they look like wounds
