I have a mole on my face and ive had it for ages…i went to a specialist to see if i should have it removed and he said at the time it would leave a scar and such…and didnt think i should so i didnt. But it really bugs me….and a few years on i still feel the same about getting it removed.
From experience what is the best way to get one removed and how much would a proffesional cost???

My moles were mostly on my face. My doctor said you can’t have them removed because they will scar. I don’t like doctors. I used a safe herbal paste I got it from the internet from here http://www.wartmoleremover.co.uk you can see there that people use it on their face and it doesn’t scar. It depends how you heal. It is only a scab that is going to heal just like any other scab. my face is scar free. i would recommend this method to my gran – and I like her. (oh and when I was searching around it was the cheapest way to do it especially if you have more than 1) when I did mine I put vaseline around the mole on the good skin. I don’t believe the paste is clever and knows what is good skin and what is a wart so just apply it carefully. Normal common sense is all you need. you could be mole free within 2 weeks.
Cost is something that is between you and the surgeon, it can be easily removed, get another opinion from a good dermatologist. It should be "No Biggie" !
They burn or laser the things off, and it takes about 10 minutes in the office. If it is huge, maybe it will leave a really noticable scar, but if it’s just a mole, about 400 to 800 bucks, and they just zap it off. The scar is nothing compared to a brown bump on your face.
I don’t understand why a physician would want to deter you from removing it. A mole can eventually become cancerous, and they are kind of ugly as well.
