I have a collection of over 40 skin tags on my neck. People make fun of them and are unattractive. They are semi smooth and fleshy, my doctor said the sun are causing them so I’m wearing sun block on my neck which isn’t working and their growing like crazy. How do I get rid of them and get them to stop growing easily? My parents get mad that I hate them. I’m 12 btw. HEEEELP!

A dermatologist can help you with this. He can quickly amputate your current tags with little pain. He may or may not be able to completely rid you of future growth, but he should be able to reduce the problem.

I had a bunch of skin tags on my neck before and i yanked em off with my hands. It didn’t hurt, though it did bleed for a little bit but not enough to need a band-aid.
This is a real good way to get rid of them with very little discomfort and even less chance of infection from just pulling them off. *Clean area gently,betadine,phisohex,even just mild soap & h2o, * thke a length of fine thread( I use to use suture material when I had the access) but a fine nylon sewing thread work just as good. * make a small open loop as tieing a knot but don’t close it until it is around the base of skin tag,now tighten the knot quickly {this will cause a slight twinge of a sting but thats it– the blood supply has now been cut off and in 1-3 days it will just fall off never to return,you can cover with a bandaid until it is finished.As a Hospital Corpsman( MEDIC) in the military I removed hundreds this way always safe and effective.
skin tags aren’t caused by the sun. most places you get them aren’t where the sun gets to. you
can have the doctor freeze or cut them off. it only takes a few seconds to freeze them. they
will fall off in a week or two.their caused by friction when your skin rubs together. overweight people
and people doing a lot of repetitive motion where their skin rubs together a lot can get them. you
can get them anywhere on your body. two of the usual places are the base of the neck and
under your arms and under your breasts if your female. sun block is not going to stop them from coming
I had one under my eye for many years, as a child it was cut and stitched but returned, it was burned but returned bigger and I did the string thing, it dried up fell off but came back even bigger. I tried an awesome product called miracle ll neutralizer gel which you may be able to get at a Health Food Store or online, I used it several times a day faithfully for about 2 weeks and it worked painlessly, it disappeared and has never came back, it has been several years, this product is so safe you can even put some in your eyes and it heals wounds quickly and heals infections.
