Help I have a large, raised mole and I'm scared to tell my mom?
I went to the dermatologist today for acne and I really really wanted to tell him about my mole which seems to get larger and larger but I’m embarrassed because it’s on my left boob. I’m only 17 and I don’t want it to be serious, but I’m too afraid to bring it up to my mom because I don’t want to show her and we don’t really talk about that stuff, and I have a man dermatologist and I’m scared.
How should I bring it up to my mom?

No one here is a professional. Please tell you Mother, I am sure she would be concerned if you didn’t say anything. It is vitally important for you to tell her now rather than later. You can always ask for a female doctor or consultant to be in the room.
If it’s bigger than a pencil eraser, you should tell your mom immediately, and I’d just kind of bring it up, like ‘uhh, mom? I have something I’m a little worried about….’ and tell her. She’ll understand. If it’s smaller than a pencil eraser, just keep and eye on it, if it starts to grow/change color, that’s when you need to tell somebody, otherwise, dw about it
you need to get it checked, I got my moles checked and I was completely nervous, the doctor said to me the ones they really worry about are the ones near the bra strap for women because it rubs on the mole, so if yours is near where the strap is or where the underwire is, please get it checked out, actually get it checked anyway just to be sure.
dont be embarassed! your doctor has seen many boob moles before! (and even some worse). but a raised and growing mole is very bad and could be skin cancer. imma say you have to get over this [temporay] embarassment and have ur doc check it out befor it becomes something way worse.
