A few weeks I noticed a black dot underneath my skin, it has no head, bump, borders or brown/red/odd colors around it, it’s just a black dot as if someone poked a marker on my skin
My problem is I have never took notice of my body until I began researching about cancer, and I honestly can’t figure out if I’ve always had this mark or not. My mother told me I was born with a few black spots on my body, which I do have that are quite larger than this one in fact since birth, And that I could just be getting more as I grow. My main concern is that this black spot is more "out there’ than my other spots, as in my other spots look faded in with my skin, while this one is more darker than the rest.
She and my father explained that this is just genetics making them appear, and not cancer which I am concerned about. And they are my only transportation and money to actually go to a doctor, which they refuse as they think I’m being a hypochondriac about cancer in general.
My family has no history of melanoma or skin cancer, and I haven’t been exposed to the sun for more than two-ten minutes for the past three years, and I’ve never tanned or used a tanning bed.
Here is the black spot in question

The last time I went for a full checkup was after I had an anxiety attack in 2006 which the doctors said everything was fine and I only have an anxiety disorder which was described as severe, and I was born with no defects.
And just a note, I know if I think something is wrong I should see a doctor, my problem is my parents refuse to believe anything is wrong with me and therefor will not take me to the doctor, and they also don’t want to spend money on what they believe would be a waste of time as they think I am normal. So please no "go to the doctor"
