my salon does perminant hair removal and i was wondering is it really perminant, and lasts your whole life?can i have it done on my face i think they said its facial but dont remember?sounds gross but ive got a little mole on my cheek with hair growing out eww! ive been plucking it but i want it all gone!!! anyone had this done please help

Hi, basically through out this question, I just want to ask 2 main questions.

Explanation:So I am getting a mole removal from my face and my parents are letting me choose between a facial shop that removes mole for per mole. And a dermatologist (http://www.unionsquarederm.com/) that cost like a couple hundreds.

Question 1: Is the effect from getting it removed from the professional vs the shop so great that it is worth to pay that much more?
Question 2: I have to pay 0 at the first time visit at the dermatologist to check my mole. Is it possible that after I pay the 0 and they check it and decide that they cannot help me remove the mole, then my 0 is just dropped down the drain for nothing?

i am a 17 year old who is fed up with the marks on my face. i have a beauty mark on my cheek, my nose and my eyebrow. i would like to get rid of them but i am afraid that it will scar.

how much it costs
is it painful
is the scaring bad?

keeping in mind these are facial moles and are only on the surface they don’t rise up

and if there are home remedies to get rid of them please inform me. i really need them off!

From the first needle stick..I felt like I was on fire. This brought me to tears. I had 3 removed from my facial area and the pain was excruciating. Anyone else been through this? I was told it is the ph level in my skin. Several others I talked to said the injections should not have burned.

Does anyone know? Was this a bad reaction to the Lidocaine?

I have two slightly raised brown marks on the left side of my face since birth. I didn’t really care about them that much until I had to start shaving. Theyve become an annoyance because they get in the way of shaving(the hair on and around them grow much faster than my other facial hair). It hurts to shave over a bit, and it is just plain annoying. So, I want to get them removed. Question:Will hair be able to grow where the mole is removed? I don’t want to have a beard (if I ever want one) and then there are two spots without any hair.
