I also want to know can light skin black people get skin cancer? This summer I went on vacation to another country and I got really sun burnt on the shoulders and on nose because of how hot it was. Well since then I have a small mole on the back of my shoulder, it’s not like raised or weird looking or anything. It could have been there before the summer. But I DO know it hasn’t always been there…does that mean something? And is it possible for a black person to get skin cancer if their skin is light enough?

Im 15 and i have a small mole on my right cheek, next to my nose and above my lip. I don’t know if this would make me ugly or not, but it has always made me insecure and feel self conscious. What do you think about this?

The mole is in a spot like Cindy Crawford and is raised, nearly the size of a small pea. Having it removed by her choice.
