SO hopped in the shower today and noticed two moles on my stomach were bright beat red. they were inflamed and larger than normal. one of them has gone down to normal Sense then but the other is still red (but its not huge anymore) should i be concerned, im thinking it might have been a red mark from my blankets, you know how when you sleep on them you wake up with marks that make you look like you were attacked by a bear, but what do you think
the person who answered: fatbeagle, im worried becasue i had cancer in a mole on my arm and i could’ve lost my arm

The reason why I ask is that over the past few months, I’ve noticed that my little pomeranian has developed a small, pen-tip sized spot on her left shoulder blade. She has really thick fur, so unless I dig around on her back (like giving her back scratches or such), I don’t notice it. Well, I’ve been noticing it, but every time I’ve seen it, I’ve thought it was a bug bite and didn’t think much about it. It was only over the weekend that I realized that this same little spot has been there for about 3-4 months now. I plan on taking her to the vet (not only for the spot, but because she needs her shots updated and her teeth cleaned), but I was wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience? Could it be a mole or perhaps a scar from a vaccination injection, since she had just come from the vet around the time I first found it?
For information: The little spot is about 2ish millimeters raised from the skin and round. It’s also flesh colored (not dark). It seems like a little flesh colored ball, like the raised, flesh-tone moles of some people. I can touch and rub it without bothering her at all, nor is it seeping any liquid and does not appear filled with liquid.
someone told me that skin cancer can develop at the site of a wound that will not heal due to constant repetitive friction?. Is there any evidence?. Is it true?. Any input from a medical professional would be appreciated.
Hi all,
I just did a mole removal. I sort of have miniature craters on my face after the laser treatment. The lady gave me bacitracin to apply after 4 days. I was wondering if anyone else has tips on how to hasten mole skin healing. The craters still have brown spots in them. I believe scabs would form right after. Are there any recommended skin creams for healing? Any other helpful advice and tips?
My boyfriend just recently pointed out that I have some spots on my penis that I should get checked out and he was thinking that it’s HPV/genital warts. I go to a dermatologist regularly so I went and asked him about it. He said it looked like genital warts at first. But as he was going over them he said they could be moles because they weren’t hard like warts. He then proceeded to freeze them.
My question is how can I get tested for this? I plan on asking my dermatologist next time I see him. But I can’t think of a time where I’ve had an outbreak and the one’s he froze off I don’t remember not having but that doesn’t mean I’ve had them forever. But since he’s froze them, they’ll fall off in a couple weeks and I don’t tend to break out with warts so I don’t expect to get anything new. So how can I get tested for it if I don’t have a wart on my penis to be tested?
Yeah I am a little pissed my dr. didn’t try to diagnose it. Cause now I’m still stuck where I was before of whether or not I have it. My boyfriend does not have them. And he’s my first real sex partner. I experimented with a guy when I was like 12. I didn’t see them on him and I wouldn’t think a 12-year-old would have an STD, but I could be wrong and got it from him.
