I’m 15 years old, and I have lots of tiny moles on my face, and they really bother me (about 10, some a little bigger than others) I seem to be getting more lately and I just hate them, they’re embarrassing. I know mole removal is very expensive, would insurance cover any of it? I don’t think any are cancerous, they’re very small but obviously I wouldn’t know for sure. What is the cost of getting about six frozen off? I had a friend get one frozen off and it didn’t leave a scar, but I’m still freaked out about that too. Just help please. thanks
In interest I want to get a skin cancer check in the next few years. I just want to know how old i have to be, what is involved and If they do cut out a mole will they use any numbing things?
I had two moles removed. two small, surface moles just to be biopsied. No stiches required.
The derm said keep them covered with bandages and polyspore, for 2 wks, changing bandages twice daily.
I was wondering if after that, would it be ok to put something like Bio Oil on the scar?
and if so, would that help the appearance of the scar?
(a few ppl I know have pretty weird/ugly looking raised scars now which they did not use any kind of scar treatment cream on).
I have noticed on the top of my left thigh I have a mole which has changed colour from brown to dark purple/black and it’s raised. I have other moles nearby and the mole was a similar shade to the others. The mole is small.
