So i have a mole near my nose that I have always been very self concious of. I’m 21 now and am wanting to get it removed but have a few questions. First, like I said I am very self concious and don’t even want to bring up the removal with my boyfriend or coworkers becuse it’s embarassing. how do i get over that embarassment and be comfortable with talking about it? Also, how long does it take to heal? Is there scabbing? I don’t want to walk around with a bandaid on my face for weeks. Another concern is scarring. Obviously moles are not attractive but scars aren’t either. How noticeable is scarring after removal? Last question, would it be covered by insurance? I also have two moles on my chest that I want to get removed, I read that body mole removals are usually covered but facial ones are not because it’s considered cosemetic. Is that true? I have a few moles I am worried about. One in particular that seems to look like superficial spreading melanoma. I have been to the dermatologist and am being sent to a specialist to have them biopsied. The mole I am most worried about is on my shoulder near my neck. I have heard that this is one of the worst places as far as it being able to spread. I am terrified that I have melanoma and am if anyone can tell me what they think or what they have been through?

so I have this mole on my leg it’s not too big… and it’s not cancerous
doesn’t really bother me either, except when I wear suimsuits, so I’d like to have it removed for cosmetic resasons
so I was wondering how much this would cost?
how much it hurts? (i’m very sensitive to pain)
just so I have a basic idea, before meeting with a dermatologist
