i’ve heard that moles on the face are generally handled by plastic surgeons as opposed to dermatologists? why is this?

Hey, I have a eraser sized mole on the small of my back. It is VERY embarrassing in a swim suit. I am 14, and this year I am graduating from junior high, so there are going to be many pool parties. I have seen many products like dermatend online, but i’m not convinced that they work. I have gone to the dermatologist and she said it wasn’t cancerous and that the only reason I would remove it was for cosmetic reasons. I have heard of the pain involving mole removal and it will leave a nasty scar. I don’t understand if these mole removing creams are real, why aren’t they more popular and why didn’t my dermatologist recommend it? Is there any side effects? and my dad is a doctor, so i don’t know if my parents will approve of this product because it is all herbal. I don’t know how to tell my parents in a casual way either. I am going to spring break in 3 weeks so I want to come up with a solution soon for this mole! Please help a wary, stressed girl that needs help! And no fake replies please!
And also how should I ask my parents? I don’t know why, but its embarrassing!!! Should I say "Did you know that there are creams that can remove moles?" I just think it would be weird to bring it up out of the blue. But time is running up until my vacation! I need answers!
Also, I’ve been researching Dermatend, and many people have been saying that it is made of blood root which is harmful and that other creams are better!

i was just wondering, can flat moles change to raised moles over time? i’m not sure if that happened to me, but i’m not sure about it, so i wanted to know if it’s possible.

and also, i have a mole that sorta got bigger… but they don’t show cancerous symptoms like… they’re still symmetrical, one color and such..
is this normal?

i think i’ll go see the dermatologist soon, but i just wanted to know in advance before i get it checked out. thanks.
