The freckle like marks are on my entire body. I notice that the skin itches and then a scaly top forms and a brown mark appears that lasts forever. I have been told that it is something to do with the capillaries but would like to know more. I haven’t gotten any satisfaction from the doctors.
I have a raised mole just above my eyebrow. Once it a while, it would swell up and the skin surrounding the mole would turn red. i desperately want it removed but my friends tell me that going to a dermatologist is VERY expensive and my insurance doesn’t cover it.
my family doctor doesn’t do dermatology. he refered me to a derm.

I distinctly remember that a few years ago, when I was around 13-16, I plucked a hair from a mole and it started leaking small drips of dark-red blood. I’m now 18. I thought nothing of it until recently when I started looking up skin cancer, which many websites claim that any bleeding by a mole is a sign of cancer, no matter how minor the cause. That particular mole looks a bit atypical, but I have dozens of them on my body. I remember weeks ago I asked my GP about my moles, who was unaware of the bleeding from years ago, and said they looked fine. Should I be worried? Should I go to him again?
(I don’t have health insurance, btw. I’m barely a college student)
