I had this really big dark brown, almost black, mole on my back that I had removed a little over 4 years ago. The doctor told me to come back and have some more skin removed and due to not having insurance, I never did. Do you think it has gotten worse? I have an appointment on the 27th and am really nervous.

My friend works at a hospital and she has access to local anastecis. We have been talking about her bringing it home and then giving me a local needle then cutting off the mole. I don’t have health insurance and the doctor said he would charge me 00 for the procedure. Its on my back and its getting bigger and starting to bother me when i sit down.

My friend has no problem pulling the mole and taking a razor blade to it. I consulted my doctor about it. He said it isn’t cancerous but should most defintely be removed by a professional. He also said if I do it anyway, which he strongly advises not to, then I shopuld go and see him for a follow up to make sure it does not get infected. i think he just wanted my money. He charges for a non-insurance visit. Most other doctors in my area do the same.

So whats your opinion? Am I nuts?

I have like 5 moles on my chest 3 of which were not there until about 2 weeks ago. I’m getting kinda scared here and I was to know is mole removal treatment painful? Please reply I’m really scared.

Painful injection or unnoticeable surgery under anesthetics? How much per mole does it typically cost?

Scientists know that the UV rays from sunlight can contribute to skin cancer, so how do you minimize the risk of getting skin cancer?
